Boxergy are a Scottish company focused on making low carbon heat affordable for all.
Our plan is to bring together existing technologies and a smart tariff to allow our customers to buy their energy when its cheap and green and use it when they want.

What is a heat pump?
An air source heat pump is set up outside your home, usually at the side or back of your property. It takes heat from the air (even down to minus 20 deg C!) and boosts it to a higher temperature using a pump.
The pump uses electricity to run, but it makes around 2.5 times more heat than the electricity it uses. Take a look at our graphic for a visual representation of how an air source heat pump functions
Our Home Energy Solutions:
Air Source Heat Pumps + Storage
Our COMBO systems include a High Temperature Air Source Heat Pump and cutting edge hot water and heat storage.
The high temperature makes our COMBO compatible with the vast majority of UK houses, usually without the need to change radiators, meaning less disruption for you and your family.
When paired with a time-of-use electricity tariff, the COMBO generates heat when electricity is cheaper and store it for when you need it.
Smart tariffs are required to maximise your savings. Boxergy recommends OctopusGO. Please, feel free to use our referral code to get £50 off. We also get £50 and we will use this money to accelerate our mission.
The Boxergy COMBO is designed to be upgradable to get smarter and cheaper with time.
Solar PV compatibility: our COMBO system can be set up to use excess solar PV generation.
Our COMBO systems are usually eligible for:
Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI)
Air Source Heat Pumps
Heat Pumps are one of the most efficient and green ways to heat your home.
Heat Pumps use electricity to extract the existing heat that is always present in the air. Even at temperatures less than -20°C the air still has plenty of heat to warm your home.
Is a heat pump right for my home?
Boxergy’s solutions are versatile. They can work even in older, less well insulated homes. That’s because we only use high temperature heat pumps. That means we often don’t have to change your radiators or underfloor heating.
Our heat pumps can replace gas, oil, LPG, electric, biomass and even old coal boilers.
Heat pumps are great, but they are even better when paired with heat storage. Check out our Boxergy COMBO system.
Our heat pump systems are usually eligible for:
Sunamp Heat Batteries
Boxergy specifies Sunamp Heat Batteries as they are the most compact thermal storage technology available on the market today.
These super-compact, high-tech, heat batteries have been designed to provide an alternative to bulky, space hogging hot water tanks. Sunamp Heat Batteries can deliver cascades of hot water and highly responsive space heating.
Boxergy systems incorporating Sunamp Heat Batteries can be used:
as a direct replacement for your hot water cylinder and immersion heater.
to store the excess energy from you solar PV.
to store heat from virtually any heat source.
from large homes to very small flats.
Sunamp heat batteries are great, but they are even better when paired with an air source heat pump. Check out our Boxergy COMBO system
Boxergy systems incorporating Sunamp heat batteries are usually eligible for:
Stop sending your unused PV energy back to the grid.
Store your excess solar power and use it at a time that most suits you with an innovative Lithium-ion Home Battery from a global manufacturer leader Soltaro.
Additionally, you can pair the battery with a Time of Use tariff for even cheaper and greener electricity.
These battery systems are expandable and adaptable to the needs of any home type and dimension. Thanks to the remote monitoring technology, all updates can be done remotely so you are always up to date.
Local and remote monitoring is also available.
Benefits of solar electricity:
Cut your electricity bills: sunlight is free, so once you've paid for the initial installation, your electricity costs could be reduced to zero when the sun's shining.
Cut your carbon footprint: solar electricity is green renewable energy and doesn't release any harmful carbon dioxide or other pollutants. A typical home solar PV system could save around 1.3 to 1.6 tonnes of carbon per year depending where you are within the UK
Solar PV is great, but it’s even better when paired with a Boxergy COMBO system.
