District heating schemes seem to make sense, for other people, that’s the problem, who wants to be tied into a contract for over 20 years.
We understand why big companies involved in gas want us to convert to using hydrogen but we think the infrastructure costs make this a non-starter.
Whilst storage heaters make sense for some most of us would prefer a system that was at least as controllable as gas.
Heat pumps are great but can be expensive to buy and aren’t as controllable as gas.
